I finally jumped on the Spanx Faux Leather Leggings bandwagon, and I am all in on these leggings, guys! They really are as worth all of the hype and the price — though if you’re willing to wait it out, there’s at least one big sale a year on them, and that is a great time to save a few dollars. Today, I’m going to share a few examples of how to style spanx faux leather leggings. I’ll be honest, when I first saw them in person, I wasn’t sure if they were going to work for my normal casual style, but they are so versatile. Besides fitting incredibly well and being insanely flattering, there are tons of ways to style these leggings – from super casual and appropriate for the school pick-up line, to dressed up for a date night.
Sizing Note: Size up one from your normal size. And, if you are 5’4″ or shorter, definitely go for petite. I am 5’2″ and have the petite length, and they are still a tad long on me.

Outfit 1
An easy, street casual way to wear these is to pair them with a casual tunic tee and booties. The booties dress it up, just enough for a date night or girl’s night out. I love this waffle tunic (sold out – similar here) from American Eagle. These booties are super affordable, and this Kate Spade bag (similar here) is my go-to for a night out.
Tip: if you’re a fan of Kate Spade, but don’t want to spend a ton, sign up for their email list to get alerts for clearance sales, which happen often. They almost always have an option similar to this bag, at a great price.
Outfit 2
Quintessential mom outfit, right here. Old Navy tunics are a great basic to stock up on, and these easily cover your booty, so they’re the perfect length. I also love this Old Navy denim jacket as just an extra touch. Finish it off with your favorite casual sneakers (these Golden Goose look-alikes are my current go-to), or slip-ons (these are similar to mine).

Outfit 3
Another bonus to these faux leather leggings is that they are wearable year round. If you’re in a colder climate, you can pair them with any longer sweater, and a good pair of knee-high boots. This sweater is an older one from Lou & Grey, but I like this one, and this one as similarly styled alternatives.
My boots are Tory Burch, and are definitely a splurge, but I grabbed them during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale several years ago, and I’m so glad I did. They are classic, high quality, and will last for years. Similar option here, and a new similar style is usually released annually.
Outfit 4
Ok, time to dress it up! A simple pair of black heels adds a lot of dressiness to these leggings. I paired it with a pleated cami, and a longer cardigan (similar here and here) to dial it back a little.
