In addition to a bunch of good clothing and shoe finds, there are some great home and beauty products included in the Nordstrom Anniversary sale this year. I’m trying to stick to only what I need this year, so this is not a crazy long list of every product I would love (though there are so many!).
I was reminded of one great item in the sale – the T3 Cura Hair Dryer – as I was blowdrying my hair for the first time since returning from three long weeks away from home without it. I was hesitant to spend over $100 on a hair dryer, but decided to give it a try, and the difference in quality really is amazing. Below is the info on the hair dryer and the rest of my must-haves for beauty and home — and of course, they’re all in stock!
The beautyblender has been one of my best investments. These are a must have if you wear any sort of foundation or concealers, because they really help to make your makeup go on smoothly and blend to give a natural look.
I’ve also tried the amazon dupes (here), which are much cheaper. They are really good dupes for an amazing price, but I definitely notice a difference in how they blend in comparison to the original Beautyblender, so I prefer those.
Beautyblenders normally run $25 a piece, so to get two plus a case (which is really helpful for travel!) for $35 is a great deal.
TWO // T3 Cura Hair Dryer – Sale Price: $155, Regular Price: $235
I mentioned the T3 Cura Hair Dryer above, and it was definitely the impetus for me doing this post! The discount during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is pretty steep, but I was still very hesitant to spend that much on a hair dryer. However, this thing is legit! It dries your hair incredibly quickly and really helps keep away the frizz. My hair feels so soft after using this, as opposed to the fried straw effect a cheap dryer can give. If you use a blowdryer frequently, this is worth the investment.
THREE // Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Throw – Sale Price: $96.90, Regular Price: $147
If you saw my initial post on my overall picks, you know that I have a serious love for the Barefoot Dreams brand. Their cardigans are unbelievably soft, and this throw does not disappoint either. It is so so soft and we use it pretty much every evening. I love cuddling up with this thing, even in the dead of summer when there really is no need to use a blanket. We have the pink color, which is a beautiful soft pink and looks great with our dark grey couch.
FOUR // Nordstrom at Home Kennebunk Bliss Plush Throw – Sale Price: $25.90; Regular Price: $39.50
I do not own this throw, but the reviews are really really good for this one, making it an affordable alternative to the Barefoot Dreams throw. Tons of colors available, and a fraction of the price. Note that it is slightly smaller than the Barefoot Dreams blanket, so it is more of a throw than a blanket.
